Our story

ARMA Insurance Brokers Gunnedah and Moree is an experienced and highly respected general insurance broker, servicing North West, Central West and New England NSW, as well as southern Queensland. Led by Managing Director Dan Ramien, the dynamic team provide outstanding advice and customer service from offices in Gunnedah and Moree. The point of difference is being able to offer one-on-one personalised communication at a grassroots level for ARMA's growing list of clients across rural and regional Australia.

Dan established the business in Gunnedah in 2010, after spending 8 years working for another broker in Tamworth. He and his wife Kate wanted to be closer to family as they planned to begin a family of their own. After years of hard work and long hours, Dan went on to build the Gunnedah business and eventually took ownership of another brokerage in Moree in 2015. Together with his excellent team, Dan built the business into what it is today where he employs five staff and services more than 1500 clients.

ARMA Insurance Brokers Gunnedah and Moree is a specialist broker offering farm, crop, cotton, business and personal insurance with access to leading insurers and underwriting agencies across Australia.

The business has a strong focus on farm and crop insurance and has established a solid reputation and long-term working relationships with its clients - having access to many national rural and crop insurers. Dan was invited to be on the panel of Steadfast Brokers to develop their new Allianz Steadfast farm wording in 2015, providing key information about farm insurance covers which was then distributed throughout Australia to Steadfast Brokers. 

When dealing with ARMA Insurance Brokers, you are dealing with people that know the land. With Dan having been raised on a sheep and cattle station near Coonamble, and now running his own grazing and cattle property near Gunnedah, he understands the challenges facing those on the farm.

As a local broker, ARMA believes in providing a personal service to their clients in an industry that is seeing a demise in on-the-ground advice and communication. The feedback from clients, many who have been with ARMA for over a decade, has always been positive and clients appreciate the one-on-one service.
